San Ysidro lies adjacent to some of the richest biodiversity in San Diego County. If you are a bird watcher you may already know that the Tijuana River Valley and Tijuana River Estuary are some of the best birding areas in the County and the Nation.

Maybe you just enjoy hiking, biking, or would rather horseback ride out to the ocean. There are miles of trails for all of these activities. And after you have added to your birding life list or need to rest up from that hike, stop in San Ysidro for a little refreshment or shopping.
